Treasure hunting?

  1. So far it seems like if you playthrough Eridian you weapons allways improve just a little bit, especially when you have alot of money to throw away. Most of my dark orange items have all been pistols and shotguns and one good smg. My best sniper is a level 28 blue PPZ Lance... so im sure theres alot more to get. I'm working on my 3rd guy now between hunting because I whipped through and didnt get backpacks on my second and you only get prizes instead after you beat the vault. So if anyone knows anything about hunting, let me know.

  2. Additional Details:
Lately i've been only colecting good weapons to sell that I want to see improve. Is it good to have orange and dark orange in your inventory or cycle them through the store to produce better weapons?

May as well get this all on one board. Anyone know if box and chest counts improve your odds of getting better treasure and loot?

  1. Ok, in order:

    1) Yes, there is always a better weapon out there. If you find the best weapon in the game, tell me. Seriously.

    2) There is no point in collecting good weapons unless you are trying to find a better weapon to use, or looking for some stuff to sell. Selling them is your best bet. Why have nice, shiny weapons in your backpack when you could take up that space with money?

    3) As far as I know, the number of boxes/chests opened has no effect on loot. The loot usually improves depending on where you are on Pandora. For example, the loot near New Haven is obviously better than the loot near Fyrestone.

  2. there are diffinately better weapons and from what i read, they keep getting better as you do. i right now with my hunter have a crimson sniper that does 454 damage with an accuracy of 96.3 and a firing rat of 1.8 and another one with 540 damage that has and= accuracy of 98.1 but a firing rate of .4 also has a 1.5X scope on it. you pick and choose for what works best for you. plus your stats will change the gun asw well. You get the backpac upgrades so you can carry a lot of weapons for the different characters. orange, BTW, doesn't neccessarily mean good. just means rare. i have an orange worth onl 5k and i found it later on too. also. the guns get better nearer to the end of the story.

  3. Tell me if you find the most powerful, non-modded weapon in the game, I can duplicate it for you.
