Not the best Kirby game, but still a fine game

''Kirby's Dreamland 3'' was the last Kirby game released for the Super Nintendo system in 1997. Once again, Kirby must be the one to save his home, Popstar, from an evil force. But this time, he has a lot of help.

Graphics: 10/10
These graphics are kind of hard to describe. No other game I can think of looks anything like this one. The game has a very crayony look. The colors are very light and done in pastel. Think of the graphics in ''Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island'' and imagine if the colors looked very pale. That is how this game looks. As alwsys in all Kirby games, this one still features cartoony graphics, but these graphics are perfect for Kirby! These cutesy graphics are just hilarious and enjoyable to look at!!

Music/Sound: 8/10
This game features traditional Kirby music. At most times, it is very happy and at other times very fast-paced. Rarely is it creepy. Once again, this tranquil type of music fits the pink powder-puff well. Sound is good enough. You can hear when Kirby bashes stuff and is does some of his powers.

Gameplay: 10/10
This game is fun! If you've played Kirby games before, you have an idead what to expect. Kirby is a side-scrolling game done like Super Mario games with worlds and stages. Only thing is, Kirby is a cute, puffy, pink guy that can puff up to fly and he can inhale enemies to steal their powers. Cool, huh? This game is unique as Kirby now has 6 animal buddies from a fish, to a blob, to a hamster, who help you on your quest. When you find an animal friend, you can use them to change your abilities. For example, with the blob, Kirby can cling to ceilings. The powers you have stolen from enemies also affects how your powersd with the animal friend are. As if that isn't enough- yes, there's more!- this is a two player game. Kirby has a black blob-like friend that can be used by a second player. With all these powers and animal friends, it never gets old in this game.

Replayability: 8/10
This is a pretty easy game as are all Kirby games. Once you finish it, you may want to go back for some more. The interesting thing is that this game features a secret boss, who you must beat if you want to see the real ending. This last boss is actually pretty challenging. The only thing is, in order to fight him, in every stage, you be able to find a star piece. Some of these are well-hidden and very tricky to get.

''Kirby's Dreamland 3'' is a great game. It may be too cute and easy for some, but I liked it. Funny graphics and a wide variety of powers make this a great game. It is not as good as the other SNES Kirby game ''Kirby Superstar''. Still one that is definitely worth checking out though.

Overall: 9/10
