"Mario is back and is out of this world!"

It's about time I did a review for this game. I've had it for almost 2 months! Anyway here is my review on Super Mario Galaxy!

Story: 8/10: Mario games have always had a poor storyline and this game is no different but it has been improved. It's the night of the star festival and Peach has invited Mario to give him something however half way through the celebrations, Bowser shows up. As Mario enters onto the bridge to the castle to try and save Peach, Bowser takes the castle into space and then blasts Mario to a planet where he finds out from a girl called Rosalina he needs to collect stars to get to Peach.

Game play: 10/10: You move with the Nun chuck analog stick, you can centre the camera with C (if possible) and you crouch with Z. The pointer on the remote collects star bits, B fires them, A jumps, D pad changes camera (if possible), + and - pause, Home button does what it usually does, 1 and 2 buttons don't do anything and shaking the remote does a spin. It may not push the remote to its limits but it is performed flawlessly and you won't have any problems with it.

Graphics: 10/10: People say other Mario games on the Wii have Game cube graphics well not anymore. The graphics are the best on the system, even better than Prime 3, as it fits the game perfectly especially in the cut scenes involving Mario and Bowser. The game overall looks absolutely stunning from start to finish!

Music: 10/10: This is the first time the music composer has got an orchestra to perform all the music. Old and new. Mario fans will be overjoyed to here remixes of Super Mario bros and Super Mario bros 3. One of the best is when you become invincible and here a remix of the old star man music. The new music is also performed at a tremendous level!

Overall: 9/10: It might have a poor story and it might seem easier to players of Super Mario 64, but that means you can see a whole host of new areas quicker. Buy this as soon as you can, you won't regret it!

Pros: Great graphics.
Perfect game play.
Remixed music.
Cons: Not the best story.
May look easy Mario 64 players.

Buy this don't rent it. It is worth the buy. No matter whom you are!

Reviewer's Rating:   4.5 - Outstanding
