Do Virtual Console Games all cost the same?

  1. I ask this because while 64 games (Super Mario 64, OoT) are worth $10 (I assume thats the price of 1000 points) There are many older games i can get for EXTREMELY cheap, and some even for free.

I just ordered a Wii, mostly for something else for me and my girlfriend to do together. So im asking ahead of time. Thanks

  1. 1000 Points = $10. Points are buyable in 1000 increments via Credit Card Only or increments of 2000 points at a time on Point Cards (pay cash at a store).

"Imports" are any game not originally released for that system in your country. Cost is determined by system, not game quality, file size, or popularity.

    NES/SMS 500 (600 for imports and NES-TMNT)
    TurboGrafix16* 600 (700 for imports)
    SNES/Genesis*/TurboGrafix CD 800 (900 for imports)
Neo Geo 900 (1000 for imports)
    N64 1000 (imports are 1200)
Game Gear and Commodore 64 may be in our future.

*TG16 is known as PC Engine outside of America. Genesis is known as Megadrive in Europe.

  2. It depends on the system.

Also, imported games cost more than the average.
