"This game gives Clone troopers a good name!"

For those of you who think of Star Wars, the first thing that pops to your mind is Lightsabers right? Or you could think of Star Wars as a good Sci-Fi movie with lots of shooting and flying. Well when people say Star Wars Republic Commando and you have played it before you might tell the person how terrific this game is. This game is a first-person shooting game. You start off as a Clone trooper in the middle of the fight between the droids and Clones on Geonosis. Then you eventually meet his three teammates Sev, Fixer, and Scorch. You four basically try to stall/stop the droids. You go on different missions to do different things.

Gameplay 9/10

Yes, this gameplay is very impressive. The NPC's (non player characters) are really smart. I am just talking about the other three Commando's here. Some of the NPC's in other games would just walk straight into a trap. The Commando's know how to locate traps, disarm them, they can blow open doors, and they know how to shoot. Getting through the levels isn't that hard, it's fun. When you're running with a squad that knows what to do, you probably want to play this game until you beat it and then you may want to play it again. You will never get to fly, or use a Lightsaber in this game. All you get to use is your main guns and a few enemy guns laying on the ground. Those blasters range from Snipers to shotguns. Every Clone needs a grenade, so there is grenades in this game. You can head-shot enemies or shoot them somewhere where it hurts, it will just make the game a little more fun.

These graphics can blow any person's mind out! You can see all the details on your fellow clones, and the geonisians never looked scarier up close. There are a lot of graphics in this game that are really stunning. Wookies are a great example of the graphics, they look realistic and if you went up close to them they wouldn't look animated to you. All of the blasters look real, they don't look like fake animated guns that give off the wrong sound if you switch to it really fast. You can also see the blood red helmet of Sevup close, or you could look at Scorch's golden helmet. If you had 3-d glasses on, you will feel like you're actually in the game. But after all 3-d glasses barely even work and they only make it seem real so you could buy it and lose your money, so don't get your hopes up.

Music/Sound Effects 9/10

Well it's Star Wars why wouldn't you give this really great music and sound effects a nine or ten? You can't really elaborate on how good the Star Wars music is. The sound effects on the other hand you can elaborate on. You could hear the fear in the Clones voice, or do they even know the word fear? They probably don't and they don't count on finding out what it means. You could hear the cold-blooded voice of Sev right when he is about to kill a Trando, Droid, or any other living thing. You could also hear the blaster fire coming from each of the Clones blasters. They were ready for anything. Just put a good speaker system in your house, turn the music to full blast, and watch yourself get blown away by how good the Sound Effects and Music is.

Buy Or Rent?

I usually would say, rent it first, then buy it if you like it. This game is special, you have to buy it. I don't know anybody who would get sick of this game. This game is pure, it is one of the best games out there. There should be no reason to hate this game. Buy the game and have fun playing it dozens of times!
