"Ghost Recon strikes again!"

The Ghost Recon series on the Xbox have been a great series with tons of people playing all the Ghost Recon titles everyday on Xbox Live. Well, Ghost Recon 2 are back again with a new expansion called Summit Strike.

Singleplayer: 10/10

The single player is amazing and the best single player in the Ghost Recon series. As always, you control an elite military squad called the Ghosts that are sent on special missions to eliminate crazy terrorists, drug dealers or stop wars between countries. Now, when unrest in Central Asia spins out of control your team is sent to sweep up the mess. Now, playing on the hard setting is a challenge because now waves of enemies keep coming at you once your detected. So, don't think you can get through single player easily like in the other Ghost Recon games.

Online: 9/10

The online play is still amazing like all the other Ghost Recon games. There are new features like heli hunt, where you must destroy waves of attack helicopters and there is armor strike, which is the same thing except with tanks. There are also 11 new maps and tons of new weapons. The new maps are huge which include, good places to hide, and tight areas for heated fire fights. The new weapons include silent weapons, armor piercing sniper rifles, 3 new lone wolfs, machine guns, and more assault rifles. If your new to the series, the lone wolfs are types of guns that have a camera on them so you can peek around corners without getting killed. The classic modes like Last man standing, hamburger hill, siege, and sharp shooter are still in the game. But, with sharpshooter, I'm surprised that they did not fix the spawn killing issue by adding more spawn points. Overall, the online is great except for the spawn killing issue.

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics are amazing and can compare with some of the best graphical looking games like Half Life 2 and Far Cry. Although not as good as those, I believe they push the Xbox to limits. All the models and textures are perfect looking and no jaggies what so ever on any map in this game. Finally, the developer team decided to add some blood to this game because as of now the Ghost Recon series is one of the most realistic series in the gaming industry. And, the only thing they took out of most of their games was the blood so you would be wondering when you shot that guy in the head about 3 times before he hit the ground, where is the blood. But, now they put in puffs of blood to make it more realistic and entertain some of their fans. The frame rate is extremely smooth; I'm also surprised at the effort of the team to ensure the frame rate was smooth. Because the boards are so big, and there is so much going on at one time. And plus the viewing distance is pretty long too. So, overall I'm impressed by the graphics.

Sound: 7/10

The sound like all the Ghost Recon games is average at its best. The guns sound cheesy and don't sound anything like a real gun and the explosions don't sound that real either. The voice acting is decent except for the fact you'll hear your enemies repeat the same sayings over and over sometimes. The coolest thing about the sound is this game is hearing your equipment move around while your walking.

Overall: 9/10

If you own an Xbox, you should buy this game right now because every Ghost Recon game on the Xbox is good. But, this is the best Ghost Recon game out of all them. So, why are you still reading this review? Go out and buy this game, its only thirty dollars.
