"This game isn't perfect... it's the closest thing to it."

GTA 4 is the benchmark title for the open-world genre. It breaks all the boundaries and has a chilling feeling that leaves you wanting to keep playing no matter how late it is. There is no reason for anyone to not purchase a game like GTA 4.

Story: GTA has a iconic feeling to it. It has made many copy the visceral experience that Rockstar first put gamers through in the first GTA and none have quite succeeded as much as the original. The story will leave gamers breathless with moments one could swear are out of a major motion picture. The cut scenes are engaging and bring the gamer into the world of GTA. There is no substitute to the feel that Grand Theft Auto leaves people with because the developers put one of the most engaging story lines in any game to date.

Graphics: The visual experience in GTA 4 is one to only dream of. The game looks sharp, clear and fills Liberty City with an outer body experience like no other. The game does not look quite as good as other major titles like Gears of War or Halo 3 or Mass Effect but holds the strong visuals in the entire world. The entire city can look great and hold up with few to no frame-rate hiccups. GTA 4 is a visual masterpiece.

Gameplay: The gameplay is as engaging as the story is solid and as the graphics are strong. The single player makes no attempts to disappoint any gamers and the multiplayer is a worth a title of its own. It holds strong and keeps the gameplay fast and exciting. Co-op is fun and exiting with 3 modes and more to come. With exclusive content on the way for 360 owners, one can only expect more breathtaking modes and missions for gamers. The gameplay holds strong to the older counterparts of the series and does not disappoint. The gameplay is what makes the game and Grand Theft Auto is what makes the action-adventure genre.

Overall: A game like GTA 4 is not worth $60 or even $80 but more like $200 with the full package that it offers to gamers. It is a bargain at $60 and is a game no one should excuse from their Xbox 360 or PS3 Library. The game delivers on the hype like few thought it could and knocks dead the competition. Thanks Rockstar for delivering another work of art and an interactive masterpiece.
