    2. Introduction:
Hey! This is an FAQ about Da Ji! This is the second FAQ I have ever
written so I should be getting the hang of it a bit by now. But I'm sure
that there are plenty of nice people out there who will tell me what
I have done wrong. I will give credit to them for helping me.
Well I think I have said enough ( technically typed but hey )
so I hope you enjoy this FAQ and I hope that it helps you.
    3. Story:
Descending from above, the evil Serpent King Orochi shattered time
and space to test his strength against the most courageous warriors from
Ancient China and Feudal Japan. Great armies fell, yet many are still
fighting for survival - and now the greatest showdown in history is
about to take place... ( Taken from the back of the game case )

5.a) Da Ji: Who is Da Ji?
That is a good question. Da Ji is Orochi's strategist. She is a very
cruel woman who will stop at nothing just to hurt somebody. Da Ji
    is a technique type character.
    5.b) Da Ji: History
Da Ji was real. Da Ji was the beautiful daughter of a noble family named
Su in the state of Yousu. Zhou, the king of Shang, conquered the state
of Su and took Da Ji as his trophy.
5.c) Da Ji: Overall story involvement
Da Ji is Orochi's strategist. She works with Orochi to defeat the
Resistance Armies. In Wei story mode she gets captured and
works with them to defeat Orochi, only to betray them at a later
    5.d) Da Ji: Moveset
    S = Square  T = Triangle
    Standing Attacks:
S = Skidding to the side as the balls spin around her. ( Moving )
SSSSSSSSS = A series of spinning attacks with a few leaping kicks.
T = Sharp purple ice comes up from the ground.
ST = One spinning attack, then does a backflip and the balls follow.
SSTTT = Two spinning attacks, then followed by another two spinning
attacks and then at the end the balls float up and circle around her.
SSST = Two spinning attacks, then followed by a leaping kick, then
followed by jumping through the air forwards and spinning around with
    her balls following her.
SSSST = Two spinning attacks, then followed by two leaping kicks,
then followed by her going down low, then into a handstand, then
pushes herself upwards and into the air with the balls following her,
    then lands on her feet.
SSSSST = Two spinning attacks, then followed by two leaping kicks,
then followed by her throwing the balls downwards, then followed by
her channelling magic through the balls and into two lasers that fly
Musou = She floats up into the air throwing fire, and then does a
    backflip at the end.
True Musou = Exactly the same apart from at the end she throws down
    two fires.
Jump Attack = The balls move to the side.
Jump Charge = Does a backflip and propels herself into the
enemy. Does a flip at the end and lands on her feet.
    L1 = Block ( Not Moving )
    L1 + Left Analogue Stick = Block ( Moving )
R1 = Since Da Ji is a technique type, she can use R1 for
many things. When an enemy hits you and you press R1
she will counter attack, when you press R1 she will do her
special move, when you press SR1 - SSSSSR1 she will
do her normal charge attacks just much quicker. All of these will
    consume musou.
    Mounted Attacks:
T = The horse rears up and attacks the enemy ( Not moving )
T = The horse jumps and lands, hurts the enemy ( Moving )
SSSSSS = Attacks to her left and right simultaneously.
ST - SSSSST = Attacks to her left and right simultaneously,
    then attacks with both balls.
Musou = The horse charges forwards with a barrier in front of it,
it hits anybody in it's way, while Da Ji attacks to her left and
    right simultaneously and quickly.
    L1 = Block ( Not Moving )
    L1 + Left Analogue Stick = Block ( Moving )
5.e) Da Ji: How to unlock her
Unlocking Da Ji isn't hard, it just takes alot of time. To unlock
Da Ji you have to clear all the stages in the game, this included
    Gaiden stages.
You do not have to do all the missions in the stages correctly, just
complete all of the stages and you will unlock her.
5.f) Da Ji: Why use her?
This is a good question! Why should you use Da Ji?
Because I said so... Not really.
Because she's one of the quickest characters in the game, her R1
is very powerful, her moves look cool, she is fun to use, she has
good range with her attacks and with the right attributes on her weapon
she has the potential to become one of the best characters in the game.
    Just give her a try!
5.g) Da Ji: Who works best in a team with her?
That's really a matter of opinion on who works best in a team with her...
but if you build up Orochi, then he's good with her...
Hideyoshi is great with his special move, she's already quick as it
is but with his special, you can imagine how quick she would be then.
Or you could just choose whoever works best for you... your favourite
character, or your strongest character, it's entirely up to you!
Oh on a side note... Hideyoshi is good with Da Ji, but I have to
admit, his voice is very annoying so don't let that stop you from
using him, although it nearly stopped me from using him.
Here are some of the teams that I have used...
    Here you go:
    Team 1
    Da Ji, Orochi and Hideyoshi
This team is great if you know how to use them right... Hideyoshi's
buff works perfectly on Da Ji, I think she becomes easier to use with
his buff on. Orochi is there because if you get in a tight spot, then
he's good to have on your team, plus you can't seperate them two
can you? Okay, I lied, but he is still good to have in.
    Team 2
    Da Ji, Kunoichi and Hideyoshi
This team is also great, do the same thing with Hideyoshi as you did
before, and the same with Da Ji, but Kunoichi can get you out of some
tight spots with her R1 special.
    Team 3
Da Ji, Kunoichi and Xing Cai
This team is a very good team. Xing Cai is great if you use her
special ability alot, and know how to join the together. This is how
you join them together. First press R1 and the left Analogue stick
for her to do a backflip and a kind of tornado come out, then
press R1 again quickly to hit the enemy with her shield, after that,
jump and do her charge, repeat until the enemy dies. Kunoichi
is great for getting you out of tight spots, and her SSTTT is
a great crowd clearer. Read below how to use Da Ji.
5.h) Da Ji: How to use her
Da Ji is a very hard character to use if you don't know how to.
Most of her moves are very hard to pull off but if you're not that
good with her, practice. If you can't be bothered to practice, then just
use her R1 special, her T and her ST. These moves are great. Also SSTTT
    is a great crowd clearer.
All of Da Ji's moves are effective, her SSST can get you out of
tricky situations. Her SSSST can knock the enemies around
you out of the way so you have time to get started on a new combo.
I find her SSSSST move pointless. She is hard to control as it is, but
that move doesn't do much damage and it's hard to aim where it's
    going to go.
Her SSSSSSSSS move is good and easy to do, but it can be hard
aiming it at the enemy. As I said before, practice and you'll get the
    hang of it.
5.i) Da Ji: Recommended Weapon Attributes
First off I'm going to give you a list of the attributes, and what they do.
    Here you go...
Fire: Sets opponent on fire with some charge attacks, good for the
    earlier difficulty settings.
Ice: Freezes opponents with some charge attacks.
Bolt: Very powerful, with some charge attacks but 100%
guaranteed to happen. Very powerful, good for all modes.
Slay: Very powerful, does good damage against generals and
can kill peons in one hit, with some charge attacks.
Brave: Increases your attack strength against generals.
Flash: Breaks through the enemy's guard.
Air: Increases your attack strength when enemies are airborne.
    Range: Increases your attack range.
Multi: Produces Clones when doing charge attacks.
    Drain: Absorbs enemy's life.
    Might: Increases attack strength.
    Absorb: Absorbs enemy's musou.
Agility: Increases attack speed, all charge attacks.
    Rage: Increases Strength, Decreases Health.
That's all of them. All of these go up to 10, the attack goes up 20 and
    you can have 8 slots.
    Here's the weapons:
    Weapon 1:
This weapon is a great crowd clearer, but is very hard to control.
It's powerful, if you can use Da Ji.
    Weapon 2:
This weapon is a great crowd clearer too. But if you can't use Da Ji
that well then this is the weapon for you. It's still really quick, but
the added fire element will let you juggle enemies and still
    kill them quickly too.
It honestly doesn't matter which weapon you choose. It's just
    whatever you feel confident with.
5.j) Da Ji: How to unlock her Personal Item
Unlocking Da Ji's Personal Item is quite hard.
First of all do the SW story.
The battle is Kawanakajima, Gaiden 2
oh and you have to be Da Ji. It doesn't matter who is in
your team. Bear in mind you can get this item on any difficulty.
Here is what you have to do...
Do the level normally. Wait for the reinforcements to come.
When they come, defeat the generals Ieyasu Tokugawa and
Dong Zhuo. Once done, continue down the path where Dong
Zhuo was and the gates to the enemy main camp will open.
Go in and kill Sima Yi. Now the Personal Item will appear.
You need to be quick, because as soon as you kill the
reinforcements, the peasants will retreat and once they have
    retreated the battle ends.
5.k) Da Ji: How to get a good 4th weapon
To get Da Ji a good 4th weapon do this...
Get her to a level 80+
    Get her Personal Item
    Get her proficience maxed
    Get a good 3rd weapon
Now go to the Wu Story and go Gaiden 4, Wan Castle. It doesn't
matter who you have in your team as you should only need Da Ji
for this battle. Okay. Done? Do this level on Chaos mode! Yes
Chaos mode! There are 4 weapon boxes in this level. 3 in actual
boxes and 1 off of Pang De. This level really isn't hard. You don't even
have to make sure that the peasants survive.
Now that you have got the 4th weapon, it's time to start using it! Make
sure you have a lot of weapon fusion points. Because you are going to
    need them.
This stage is great for getting everybodies 4th weapons. Just use Da Ji
and get even the weakest character's 4th weapons!
The name of her Personal Item is Sacrificial Alter for those of
    you who were wondering.
5.l) Da Ji: Name of Weapons
