Getting out of the map to see strange floating buildings?

  1. I found a way of getting out of the map at the White House crater, saw some of the coolest and spookiest sites in the game, anyone found any other ways of getting outside the map?

  2. Additional Details:
As you come out the door into the crater - as your facing - the corner you need is the bottom right. climb as high around the outside ledge as it will let you and head into that corner and start jumping like crazy - if done correctly you will get a foothold above the debris - from that point on your free to walk around as much as you want, you can even walk over to the washington monument (and thru it strangely), if you thought the wasteland was bizarre wait until you walk around outside the map!!!

  2. there is a pile of rubble near the national archives. you climb over that, and on your right will be...more rubble. You can use that to get out of the world.

  3. Another way out of the map is to go to Lucas Simms house, in there is a hatch that leads on top of his house. Jump onto the airplane, now you can jump over the Megaton wall. Since the game thinks your still in Megaton nothing is loaded, so you can only walk on invisible land covered in the weed like grass. but you can walk outside the barrier and see all the floating buildings and such.

  4. Also in Paradise Falls this is possible. Go into the slave pen where you freed the children. There is a partially destroyed wall to you left. It is possible to jump up this wall and get to a platform above the slave pens. Then you can jump behind the slave bunker, climb up a pile of rubble, and either walk around on the rooftops of paradise falls, or jump off the roofs and out of the map. Another thing I found here is a strange door behind the slave bunker. If you go through it once, you will appear inside the slave bunker, and if you turn directly around, a door, not normally there if you enter the bunker the normal way, will be there. Enter it, and you will exit back INTO the slave bunker.

  5. This may be the most complicated method because To get there you must first find Isabella Proud's camp. Getting there is the hardest part so I've included a video that explains how to do that.

You will want to make sure you have plenty of rad away and rad X when you enter this area. Take a left as soon as you get thru the rubble filled alleyway that leads to the radiated pond where Isabella Proud did her research and try to stay as high up on the crater of rubble as you can while you make your way to the break in the bridge to the north. If you stand on the chunk of bridge that broke off and look away from the pond you will see an endless desert you can jump down to. You will end up outside of the game and bs able to look into it from the other side of the rubble that forms the games barrier.

I actually found this by exploring the outer edge of the map looking for secrets and was quite excited when I found not only a hidden location but a way out of the capital wasteland altogether.
