Did you mean COD4.5?

Now, granted this game is set in WWII settings, and COD4 was set in Modern settings...the over-all similarities is un-canning, which makes it seem as if this was rushed for the sake of beating the competition with a new game on the market.

Modern Warfare was still popular, and blooming - and this game killed the fan base. When they could have waited for the online plays to diminish - then go public with this game, and get them back.

But instead they went Public with this game (nothing new to the campaign, nothing fun and exciting for online) - and broke Modern Warfare's popularity.

The only thing that has changed - is simply the time frame, and an addition of a few perks online. This game is great for anyone who loves WWII games, and didn't pick up Modern Warfare because they didn't like where it was going, but to anyone who played Modern Warfare first, this game is a rushed to production game.

The enemy AI has gotten more difficult, as well as more accurate - making the completion of this game on Veteran ever more so harder. Everyone loves a challenge - but come on...Enough with the grenades. It's as if the enemy AI each has a duffel bag of grenades sitting next to them.

Other then the un-healthily fair AI (at times) - the Campaign is fun. Yet again seeing two different stories.

The Multiplayer was identical to Modern Warfare, with the exception of levels and a few changes in perks. It would have been nice if they would have gone with completely new perks, instead of adding little bits and pieces. But beggars can't be choosers.

The Matchmaking is still pretty messed up, thrown in with randoms, and you can't party with as many as you could previously. Controls remained the same, which helped a lot. However playing COD:WaW online seems pretty simple, and easy to be good at. This game should not be considered for those who like games with a challenge, or some sort of stability for online play.

All in all, this game is great for online play - but for online play, it's not what you'd expect after playing COD4:Modern Warfare.

If you wanted to play COD4, but didn't due to it in modern times, this is the game for you. If you preferred Modern Warfare, I would suggest waiting for Modern Warfare 2, before spending money on this game.
