Currently best JRPG for the Xbox 360

Join an angsty teenager..........Nope not in this game.

The first true next-gen RPG and the next installment of the long running Tales series Tales of Vesperia. In Tales of Vesperia you play as the main character Yuri Lowell. A 21- year old former Imperial Knight who works for the lower class and is always willing to lend a hand. On his way to catch a thief he meets a young caring woman Estellise and finds out theirs more to her then meets the eye. They depart on their journey which leads to meet new very likeable people, new adventures and explore the world to see with their own eyes. Get ready to depart on this epic journey.

Gameplay: 8/10
Similar to the last gen 3D versions of the Tales series and not the original 2D style, It plays as an Action RPG. With you playing as one character with an AI-controlled party which you can command and tell what to do. You come up with different strategies and learn new "powers" called Artes. You move on a 3D plane and can move as you choose too and hack and slash away at the enemy. Similar to other RPGs with a level up system you get stronger and you move on a vast world traveling from place to place and can perform various quests and plenty of sidequests to perform

Audio: 7/10
Great music. The opening song "Ring a Bell" is extremely catchy. Most of the in-game battles though sound like generic guitar music. But the game does deliver some beautiful scores and makes moments epic in the game. The effects from magic, sword slashing are all good. A great dub cast as well they really capture the emotion of the characters whether is be a "skit" which is just pictures of them talking or a full blown scene., some will even make you laugh.

Graphics: 10/10
Beautiful Style. I don't think the Cel-Shaded Graphics can get much better than this. The characters are beautiful detailed as it were an actually anime. This is truly next-gen graphics with beautiful environments. The load time is also excellent! Truly a HUGE step-up from Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Symphonia.

Playability: 10/10
With over 60+ hours of game, I don't need to say much. You most likely miss alot of stuff on your 1st Playthrough so you play again and again with stuff added on from your previous playthrough. Plenty of sidequests to do, Achievements to unlock, skits to view, items to get not to mention 4 player CO-OP and have your friends join you along for the ride. A great game for the die-hard Tales fan or RPG player. If you're looking for an RPG to get for the 360 look no longer.

Rating:   4.5 - Outstanding
