"Batman, Arkham, Asylum, XBox 360"

•Introduction - Batman Arkham Asylum is, you guessed it, based in Gotham City's Arkham Asylum which is home to Gotham's most dangerous psychotics and one of Batman's most famous enemies Joker has a plan for the Asylum and it's up to Batman to stop him before it's to late.

•Gameplay - Batman plays like a dream, the controls are easy to get to grips with and the game was exciting and fun. When you play Arkham Asylum for the first time, you know that the creators of this game spent a lot of time trying to make it a hit and their hard work definitely paid off, everything from Batman, the villians, combat, environments, story all make this game perfect.

•Story - The game starts out with Batman taking Joker to Arkham Asylum where they are greeted by the Asylum's Chief Gordon, who tells the guards to take Joker and lock the "maniac" up and the guards ask for Batman to stay with Gordon as it will upset the other inmates if saw him but Batman knows what Joker can be like and is unsure about staying behind. Before Joker can be locked away, things take a turn for the worse and Joker manages to escape the guards by knocking them out for Joker to then reveal that his capture was a set up all along and Batman fell for it. Joker then tells Batman and Chief Gordon that he plans to turn the high security asylum into a "madhouse" with Batman as the main guest. Along the way, the Dark Knight comes across some of Gotham's most dangerous and violent criminals such as Harley Quinn, Victor Zsasz, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Croc and many more before coming to the ultimate showdown of Batman vs The Joker.

The main story also includes riddles that have been hidden around the Asylum by The Riddler, which Batman has to find, finding these unlocks secret items which you can view and read in the games main menu.

•Graphics/Sound - The games graphic's are perfect and the in game soundtrack adds to the tension in the different situations you will encounter. The voice acting is amazing and fits each character brilliantly.

•Play Time/Replayability - The game on easy can be completed within 2 days or less and the normal and hard setting can take a bit longer as the game becomes more challenging. For example on hard, setting that are available on easy aren't available to help make the gameplay seem more real and difficult to accomplish on the first try. The replayability is there and there is also the mini game option where The Joker pits Batman against his goons in various different stages ranging from just hand to hand combat to the more stealth and tactical stages.

•Final Recommendation - Batman Arkham Asylum is 100% worth spending £40 on and even if your not really a fan of the Batman series, the game is still worth purchasing 10/10
