"Haters can be haters, Black Ops kicks ass!"

Modern Warfare 2 was an impressive FPS, but Black Ops makes it look like a piece of trash. I'll give you some reasons why at the conclusion. The controls on Black Ops are perfectly simple, the weapons are awesome, and the levels are very detailed and fairly accessible. But I'm getting carried away here, let's start by talking about the Campaign.

The campaign is phenomenal. Is it short? A little, but it's fun with what they give you. The enemies aren't impossible to kill, and the way you get to kill some of them is fun. Especially when you get to use the Death Machine to wipe out ground forces. It's pretty hard to stop once you've started. The missions you carry out are intense and the voice-overs are excellent. It reminded me of the CoD 4 campaign mode, simple, fun, and easy.

The Zombies are a lot of fun too. The guys you play as can get annoying sometimes, but that's not the point. The zombies are slightly harder to kill than World at War, but it depends on how good you are really. There's nothing better than getting a string of headshots. Playing with friends is also a lot of fun as always.

Now for the big Kahuna, the multiplayer. One word = AWESOME! You have to admit that the graphics aren't perfect, but you can't complain for 10 minutes straight about it. The guns are great, especially the Commando, the Galil, the Ak74u just to name a few. The ability to customize your weapons is as good as it gets. You don't need to spend 3 months getting Tiger camo on your rifle. You don't need to spend 3 months to get Extended Mags on your Light Machine Gun. And with Combat Training, you don't need to spend 3 months to get good at this game either! The custom reticules for Red Dot Sight are endless, the face paint is fun to add, and the perk layout is way more fair than MW2. Also, as with Zombies, you can play Split-Screen online! OMFG FTW.

The moral of the story is that if you were good at MW2, you're gonna love Black Ops. If you sucked at MW2 then don't worry, Black Ops can still be tons of fun for the whole family. I would strongly recommend adding this to your collection. And the funny thing is, the Multiplayer Map Packs have still yet to be released, so only more positives await!
