"The Call Of Duty Franchise has returned with the latest installment"

Call of Duty Black Ops is once again one of the best games selling on the Xbox 360 plus being one of the most popular games to play online. This game couldn't as far as I could find to be any better than what it was so let's get down to it.

The single player campaign story is very intriguing and a bit confusing obviously I'm not going to give anything away spoilers wise but anyone who has finished this campaign will find the story to be gripping. Battling in many numerous enviroments as Alex Mason (on some occasions you will be controlling other characters but only for a mission or two), conducting black operations behind enemy lines. There are a few familiar names from Treyarch's last CoD game World at War.

On the multiplayer side of things CoD still remains with Experience Points to grow up in rank. One of the new items to appear are what as known as CoD points which can be used to buy perks, weapons, equipment and grenades, but a certain rank must be achieved before you can buy certain weapons although perks equipment and grenades can be bought at any time. The limit for rank is level 50, once level 50 has been completed, the player then has the option to then prestige which in turn they lose all their weapons, equipment, grenades and perks they have bought plus all the CoD points they have. In return you gain a new rank picture to stand you out from the the different prestiges. The gametypes for multiplayer are: Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Sabotage, Demolition, Headquarters, Capture the Flag, Hardcore Team Deathmatch, Hardcore Search and Destroy, Hardcore Headquarters. Killstreaks are still in Call of Duty each one is effective depending on the scenario. The player can equip up to 3 kill streaks at any one time. The one thing which has changed to kill streaks, if a player earns any kills directly from the kill streak e.g using the R/C car to kill someone or any kills earned from a napalm strike will not contribute towards the other kill streaks yet to be earned. The newest feature in multiplayer is the ability to play split screen with either a guest or another Gold Member on Xbox live

I believe zombies needed it's own section, There are three zombie maps that comes with the basic game: Kino Der Toten, Five, and Dead Ops Arcade. Only Kino Der Toten is available to begin with. Zombies can be played either solo, split screen and/or online with up to four players. Players must earn points by killing the never ending onslaught of zombies trying to kill the players, the starting point is always the same from their the players must decide how and when to use their points to either open doors or buy new weapons and perks.
