  1. I assume you have returned to the Villa already and are in the room with the other folks and the animus. All you should have to do is stand next to the Animus and hit any button. Make sure you are not near Rebecca when you do this as you will just try to talk to her instead. Also, make sure you do not have to check your email or talk to one of the others before going back in.

  2. The red path is just the path Ezio took when he escaped the town in the beginning, it holds no other significance.

  3. It's just for helping you find your way back to the animus. Some people who are new would probably get lost.

  4. i just played ac brotherhood then played ac2 again for the fun of it
i think the red trail shows you that there is a traitor amongst you most likely Lucy
for these reasons when in ac brotherhood when you do all the glyphs subject 16 says SPOILER!!!

something about she is not who you think she is i think this is a warning
and at the end of brotherhood you are made to kill Lucy but not Alistair or the other girl.
also in ac2 warren at the end says that he saved Lucy and that she owes him
Lucy is clearly in league with the abstergo
and all assassins have the ability to use eagle eye Lucy does not have this capability

  5. All we know so far about the red trail is just speculations, and nothing has been confirmed so far.
