Execution 5 killstreaks?
I've been try to do the guild challenges and I cant seem to get any execution killstreaks of at least 5. What would be a good way to go about this? Aiden_Jerrick - 7 years ago

Once you've gotten one execution, say via a counter, timing is virtually irrelevant. As long as you have the stick pointed toward another enemy (who will be highlighted), just mash X.
Pay attention to the red life guages above guards. They flash when a guard is about to attack (similar to free form combat in Batman: AA).
You can counter a regular guard's attack during a kill streak at any time, even just after you've started an animation. Press RT+X just as they attack to get a counter-kill animation, then continue the streak as normal by highlighting another enemy and pressing X. Note that for counters timing IS important; just mashing RT+X will drop you out of the streak.
Generally, enemies whose attacks cannot be countered (Brutes or spear-wielders) cannot be countered during a streak, either, and attempts to do so will end your streak. Try to execute these enemies as soon as you can.
With a medium or short weapon (sword or dagger) equipped, select your next enemy during a kill animation and HOLD X instead of pressing it. Ezio will kill two enemies at once and both count toward your streak.
The biggest threat to long kill streaks is enemies grabbing you. You CAN counter-grab (RT+B) during a streak, press X to execute, and keep going, but the timing is very strict, and it can be difficult to tell whether certain enemies are going to grab or execute a regular attack. Again pay attention to the life guage; if a guard flashes and gets close without swinging a weapon, he's going to grab.
As long as you've unlocked the appropriate guild challenge, I believe kill streaks earned during Virtual Training in the Animus count (but am not 100% sure). blue_devil_99 - 7 years ago

If you already know how to do the execution kill streaks, keep doing it. Keep your finger close to RT because while doing kill streaks, another guard might try to attack in the middle of executing a guard so when this happens, hold RT and quickly press X to counter his attack, thus continuing the kill streak. You have to be comfortable with the kill streak system in order to do it. Its best to do this early because the later enemies in the game will grab you and throw sand, which makes the chain harder to maintain. In free roam get a group of four guards to follow you while you find another group and take them both to an open area where you can see everyone clearly and chain kill them. Try and avoid guards with spears, brutes and papal guards.
If you find a short mission with a group of 6 or more guards together just play until you kill them then hit replay. tnelly12 - 7 years ago
A good mission to do this on is Sequence 6: Memory 1. As far as actually getting the kills down, blue_devil_99 covered that pretty well. Hope this helps. Fel18 - 7 years ago
Other than what's already been said, make sure you have a lot of enemies chasing you, not just the minimum 5(In case one tries to run). werewing - 6 years ago
